Upon reaching the Land of Iron arc, the player is given the opportunity to choose an affinity for one of the 5 main stats.
The chosen affinity increases the stat gain for each invested point by a factor of 1.20. Thus, investing points into the stat to which the character has an affinity becomes more efficient.
