Weapon Types

Piercing weapons attack a maximum of one target and have a high attack speed. When attacking an enemy from behind, such weapons deal guaranteed critical damage.

Slashing weapons attack in an area, hitting multiple targets simultaneously. They have an average attack speed and a certain chance to inflict the bleeding effect on the target.

Heavy weapons attack in a large area, allowing you to hit more targets simultaneously than slashing weapons. They have a low attack speed and a certain chance to inflict the fracture effect on the target.

Some weapons can combine characteristics of different types. Such weapons retain the type that determines attack speed and area of effect, but may have an additional effect different from the standard type.

For example, the Kubikiribocho is a heavy weapon, so it has heavy-type characteristics, but instead of a fracture, it has a certain chance to cause bleeding.

Another example is Jashin's Scythe. It belongs to the heavy weapon type, despite the fact that its attacks deal piercing damage.

Thus, the weapon type and the nature of the damage it deals do not always match.

Unique types are extremely rare exceptions possessing their own combination of characteristics and mechanics. They do not belong to standard weapon types and do not have to follow their rules.

One such type is the fan. For example, the Gunbai has a unique "Fan" type: its attack speed corresponds to slashing weapons, its attack area to heavy weapons, and its attacks have a certain chance to cause a fracture.
