Elemental Techniques

An element is one of the technique types that determines the set of elemental abilities available to a character. At the start of the game, a character's element is determined using Chakra Paper.

The game features five basic elements: Water, Fire, Lightning, Earth, and Wind. Some clans have an innate affinity for certain elements. For example, members of the Uchiha clan have an affinity for Fire, and the Hoshigaki for Water.

Each element has its own set of elemental techniques available to characters with the corresponding element.

Water is an element associated with the use of water techniques and the control of large volumes of water.

Lightning is an element that uses lightning techniques for control and dealing damage to enemies.

Earth is an element based on the use of earth and stone for attack and defense.

Wind is an element that uses wind techniques to deal damage and affect enemies.

For the Lightning element, unique skins are available that change the appearance of its techniques. Skins are awarded as rewards for completing the Battle Pass and are tied to specific seasons. The presented skins belong to Season 1 of the Battle Pass — "Purple Lightning".
